Today school council reps have helped to give out badges to everyone who has walked to school once a week in February. We’ll find out tomorrow which class wins this month’s trophy! Well done & keep walking!
Hobletts Manor Junior School Council contacted us last term as they’d heard about our great playground equipment and wanted to come take a look. It was exciting when they came to visit as we showed them all the different activities we do outside, including the jungle trail, spider web, drawing trail, outdoor stage, musical trail, summer houses and friendship bench.
They have now persuaded their Governors to give them some money to buy some similar equipment for their playground! We hope to go and visit them soon to have a look. It was great to be able to help them.
Letter from them following their visit:
Thanks so much for letting us visit and look at your play equipment. Your school council were fantastic, so polite and really helpful, a real credit to the school.
You have really inspired us about the type of equipment that we would like and are now getting quotes from different companies.
We will keep you updated with our progress.
I’ve attached the group photograph from the end of our visit.

Today 6X school council reps wrote a short piece for our school newsletter about Red Nose Day. We will be hosting a ‘wear it red’ day on Friday 15th March where all proceeds will go to Comic Relief. Please see this week’s newsletter for the full article.
