Today, School Council discussed what makes a good friend and what makes a good learner. We have some interesting ideas of how to use our answers! Watch this space!
This week Eco Council were busy being spies around school as they carried out a ‘switch off’ survey. All areas in school were looked at, to see how good we are at switching things off when not in use! Results to follow soon!
Eco Council enjoyed having their meeting in the sunshine this morning. Mrs Hill showed us lots of interesting pictures of how we could make our school even more Eco friendly and brighter at the same time. The children decided they’d like to collect bottle tops to make wind chimes and hang them outside.
School Council were excited to hear about their upcoming trip to the RSPCA centre next week. As it’s one of our chosen charities this year, it will be great to see how the money we raise will be spent.
We will also be coming round classrooms over the next few weeks with daffodils in support of the Marie Curie cancer charity. Children can bring in a small donation in return for a daffodil to wear.
School Council had an important decision to make this week- what will we do as a school to mark Comic Relief?
They’ve decided we will dress up in red clothes on Friday and jog around the school field to mark Sports Relief as well!
Looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up this Friday! It’s such a great cause.
