Next week we will be doing a litter pick around the school grounds. We want to raise awareness of the importance of recycling and putting things in the correct recycling bins.
Remember your wellies!
We have been collating ideas on anti bullying, ready to make posters to put up around school. Our aim is to help everyone understand the importance of respecting each other and also how to help people when they’re struggling with a situation.
We had a fantastic visit to the Houses of Parliament this week! The children were amazed by what they saw and they asked some super questions, especially when they were having lunch with Richard Harrington!
This week is anti-bullying week. April in Year 4 has made this brilliant poster to raise awareness of the importance of how we behave towards one another. Over the next few weeks, we shall be making more posters to put up around school as well as talking to our classes about how we can support each other better.
We are also very excited about our trip to the Houses of Parliament on Monday!
We’ve been busy reminding everyone that tomorrow is Children in Need. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up!
We’re also starting to look at the value of defibrillators and raising awareness of their importance.
Reps received their Eco badges from Mr Billing today in assembly. They loved making their own badges and are wearing them proudly around school.
Reps asked their classes to vote on the list of ideas we had for Children in Need next Friday 14th November. Top of the list came teacher and children swap day- children will dress up as teachers and teachers will dress up in school uniform! A donation of £1 is welcome.
